Which model do you want BMW to bring to the States?

As we all know, Europe has many more model choices than we have in the US. Which one would you want them to make available to us? We're getting the 1 series but only coupes with inline 6s. We're getting diesels but only in the 3 series and the X5. You can only get the 7 series with a V8. 4 wheel drive is only available on some models.

Myself, I would love to see a 1 series 5-door with a diesel or the 2.0 gas engine.

:) :)

Besides from the 3 series hatch back, we do get basically the same models. It's really the engine choices that are so different. Besides from the amazing Diesel engines that BMW and also Mercedes make....us folks get better standard options and gas engines than Europe gets. No complaints here!

I think in Europe you can custom order your car and wait for it to be built. Here you almost have to take whatever the dealer has. Most have auto trannys and lots of options. You can't get a stripper car here. It would be awesome to build your car exactly as you want it.

However, I've heard that BMWs here in the States are actually cheaper than in Germany because our car market is the toughest in the world.
