Well guys I hate to tell you but I have seen all of those cars in person and have the self-made photos to prove it(with the exception of the Red E36 with the uuuuugly wing....I hate those damn things...I have a buddy with a silver E36 with that same wing...ugh). Like them or not the owners are ALL pretty much BMW enthusiasts and their autos are very, very well done(I mean the quality of the workmanship). Remember this also....BMW is the HONDA of Germany....not saying that Honda has comparable quality but there are sooooooo many Bimmers (and Beemers) that it is one of the top two home tuners choices for tuning (the other being Opel). The attitude in America is that these are such "High Class" cars that we are above the "Honda" or "ricer" tuning culture....well a dose of reality folks....the so-called Ricer tuning was called "euro" tuning before the Japanese Cars became the cheapest and easiest cars to tune and fix up......the old VW rabbits, golfs, Opels, and to a certain extent BMW and MB's were being tuned like that back in the Mid to Late 80's trust me on this.....so dont laugh...only us silly americans think that Bimmers are to good to be "riced" out. (By the way I am in a "German/American" BMW car club so I pretty much know how those enthusiasts think.) Our Club president has a 528i with Lambo Doors, crazy paint job, custom sub-enclosure, 19in 3pieces Rims, Xbox in the trunk with 13" monitor(i think that or 15") and Nitrous.....and he is a BMW Fanatic!!!!(well he likes the 350z too...but so do I [thumb]) His car is on the cover of BMW Scene Live here: http://www.vest-netz.de/pages/static/1359.aspx

"Class" of car doesn't matter to me - all riced out cars are silly looking and suck. As far as I'm concerned even Kias and Yugos don't deserve to be riced out. [hihi]

We realize that in Germany BMW’s are very common place. A dose of reality isn't in order as we are also aware of the Euro culture being around for some time. The fact is, ugly is ugly. I can appreciate good/great craftsmanship and detail, but it by no means changes the fact that the cars look like crap.

When people purchase a BMW costing from 30-90 grand not the 20-30+ grand of most Japanese cars and then in-turn do things like this to them you can be assured that most will in-turn deem them “riced out”. It’s not the fact that we think Bimmers are too good to be “riced out”, but the fact that ANY car is “riced out”. Most, including myself, have a hard time seeing a car costing so much being disgraced like this. I have a hard time seeing an Accord getting the same treatment….

I know you've seen some really wild BMW's. I have to admit some people have great imaginations....
